Game of Thrones Book Tag

When I saw this tag, I knew I wanted to do it in honor of the release of the final season tonight. To be completely honest, I’m not obsessed with this show like most of my friends/family members are. However, I do really enjoy it and I’m very excited to see how everything plays out.

I genuinely can’t think of one for this because I’m not much of a re-reader. The only books I can remember reading more than once are the Harry Potter books and I love them more each time I read them.

For this one, I’m obviously going to talk about my most anticipated release of 2019 instead. A lot of the books I was most looking forward to this year already came out, but one that still has yet to come out that I’m really excited for is Red, White & Royal Blue by Casey McQuiston. I’ve heard so many things about this one and I can’t wait for it to be released on May 14th.

For this one, I’m going with Thunderhead by Neal Shusterman, the sequel to Scythe. I thought everything about this book was perfect.

I can’t really think of a cliffhanger that pissed me off, so instead I’m going with the book with my favorite cliffhanger. That definitely has to be A Court of Mist and Fury by Sarah J. Maas. I loved the whole novel, but that ending absolutely blew me away.

One book that I’ve been meaning to read since I started watching BookTube a few years ago is A Darker Shade of Magic by V.E. Schwab. I feel like this is one of the books/series I hear about the most and I really don’t know why I haven’t read it yet.

You by Caroline Kepnes is the most disturbing book I’ve read in the sense that I was shocked by my own thoughts while reading it. I found myself rooting for the bad guy and it scared me. I go into more detail about this in my review, which you can find here.

Like I said, the only book I’ve ever really re-read was Harry Potter. That series definitely applies because it gets better and I love it more each time I read it.

Let’s chat!

Are you a fan of Game of Thrones? If so, who is your favorite character? Which House do you like best?
