ARC August 2018 TBR

arc august.png

This is going to be my first year participating in ARC August and I’m really excited! This reading challenge is hosted by Read. Sleep. Repeat. and it lasts the entire month. There will be two 48-hour readathons and a bookish bingo game where participants can win prizes.

I’m going to prioritize the ARCs with upcoming releases (I’ll read the August releases first, then September releases, and so on) and then if I have time, I’ll read some ARCs I have for books that have already been released. I’m really excited to read the ARCs I have and I hope to get to as many as possible this month 🙂

Upcoming ARCs

  • Heretics Anonymous by Katie Henry (August 7)
  • See All the Stars by Kit Frick (August 14)
  • To Be Honest by Maggie Ann Martin (August 21)
  • Seafire by Natalie C. Parker (August 28)
  • What the Woods Keep by Katya de Becerra (September 18)
  • Grim Lovelies by Megan Shepherd (October 2)
  • What If It’s Us by Becky Albertalli and Adam Silvera (October 9) – eARC

  • A Curse So Dark and Lonely by Brigid Kemmerer (January 29)

    1. That’s so great to hear!! I thought it sounded really good but I’ve only read one full review of it and it wasn’t very positive so I was starting to get a bit nervous. Hearing that you loved it makes me feel much better 🙂

I got Heretics Anonymous on Twitter through the arcsfortrade tag. And I don’t have What If It’s Us yet but I was chosen for the blog tour and I just submitted my kindle email so that they could send me the eARC. I’m soo excited to read it so I’m really grateful that I was chosen!

      1. I also loved The Big F, so I knew I would love To Be Honest. It was one of my most anticipated releases of the year!

I haven’t done a lot with the arcsfortrade tag on Twitter, but I’ll have to look into it more now! And that’s so exciting that you were chosen for the blog tour for What If It’s Us! I hope you love it! ❤

      2. I’m glad it was worth the wait 🙂 Did you like The Big F or To Be Honest better?

I just started using the tag a few weeks ago and I’m just warning you that it’s very addicting haha. I’ve been scrolling through it constantly since I first used it. It is definitely helpful as far as getting ARCs you otherwise wouldn’t have been able to get your hands on though. And thank you so much!! ❤ I can’t wait to start reading it 🙂

      3. They were so different so it’s so hard to say! I think I liked them the same!

I’m a little nervous to start using it since there are SO MANY books I want to read but also SO MANY books that I already own that I need to read. Maybe I’ll jump in once I catch up on my tbr a little bit. 😊

      4. Okay, I’ll definitely add The Big F to my TBR too! 🙂

Honestly I think that’s a great idea! 🙂 My already out of control TBR has grown to be incredibly overwhelming since I started using the tag haha. All the shipping also adds up and can get to be a bit expensive as well.

    1. Thank you 🙂 I’m very grateful to have gotten them. I hope you’re able to get a bunch of your most anticipated ARCs!! ❤ One of my goals is to be more consistent about posting reviews so hopefully I can stick to it as I finish them haha 😉
