Feyre survived Amarantha’s clutches to return to the Spring Court—but at a steep cost. Though she now has the powers of the High Fae, her heart remains human, and it can’t forget the terrible deeds she performed to save Tamlin’s people.
Nor has Feyre forgotten her bargain with Rhysand, High Lord of the feared Night Court. As Feyre navigates its dark web of politics, passion, and dazzling power, a greater evil looms—and she might be key to stopping it. But only if she can harness her harrowing gifts, heal her fractured soul, and decide how she wishes to shape her future—and the future of a world cleaved in two.
This is going to be such a hard review to write because I’m struggling to think of anything other than, “Holy shit, I loved this book!” Let me start by saying that this book has just become one of my favorites of all time. I am honestly blown away. Prepare yourselves for a whole lot of gushing.
I’m going to start with my favorite thing about this book: RHYSAND. I’ve had sooo many fictional crushes, but no character could have prepared me for the love I feel for Rhys. Not to say that I need a man, but I don’t think I can be truly happy until I find a Rhysand of my own. He is absolute perfection. I could literally go on about him for days, but I’ll try to limit myself.
Speaking of Rhysand, the romance in this book filled my cold, black heart to the brim with love. I ship Feyre and Rhysand so hard. The slow burn between them damn near killed me, but it was SO worth the wait. And how do I say this without spoiling anything? When I found out that important thing about two-thirds into the story, I think that was happiest moment of my life. Wow, goals. Anyways…
I loved the characters in ACOMAF. There were still moments where Feyre got on my nerves, especially in the beginning, but I can’t deny that she went through some amazing character development. I love that she was able to be strong and independent while still opening herself up. I’m so happy she was less cold by the end because that was driving me crazy. Also, Rhysand’s friends: Mor, Azriel, Cassian, and Amren. I honestly couldn’t choose a favorite because they’re all amazing. They’re so unique and well-developed and overall, they make the ultimate team. I also enjoyed the complex relationships between each of them. I’m rooting for Mor and Azriel so hard but I honestly have no idea where things are going to go, and part of me loves that.
On that note, I love that the plot is so complicated and that I have no idea where things are going to go in general. This book was honestly such a ride. The plot was perfectly paced and SO captivating. And THE ENDING. What a wave of emotions. There were so many surprises and I can’t wait to see what happens in ACOWAR because right now I truly don’t know what to expect.
Guys, A Court of Mist and Fury was so much better than the first book. Although I enjoyed ACOTAR, it was nothing compared to the sequel. This book gave me all the feels and I had the most amazing time reading it. It most definitely lived up to the hype and if I could give it more than 5 stars, I would.
If you’ve read the ACOTAR series, which book is your favorite? Who is your favorite character?
RHYSAND FOREVERRRRRRRR!!! I almost didn’t read the second book after the first omg SO glad I did. Completely obsessed and I never want to not be reading this series.

YESSSSSSSS!!!! There are literally no words to describe how much I love him, hahaha. I get that! I was very underwhelmed by the first one just because I didn’t feel it live up to the hype but the second book totally made up for that. And me too!! I think about it all the time
