The Television Tag

Today I’m going to talk about something a little different, which is TV shows! This tag was adapted to blogs by Sam @ Fictionally Sam. A huge thank you to Ashley @ Ashes Books & Bobs for tagging me! I love her blog, definitely check it out 🙂

 

1. Favorite shows?

FRIENDS!!! Honestly, I’m grateful for any excuse to talk about how much I love this show. I rewatch at least a few episodes every day and at this point, I’ve seen the whole show over 50 times. So, yeah, I guess you could say I’m a little obsessed.

Other than the shows I’m currently watching, most of my other favorite shows are crime dramas: Criminal Minds, Law & Order: SVU, Rizzoli & Isles, etc.

2. Favorite genre?

I watch shows from a variety of genres, but like I said I watch a lot of crime dramas so I guess if I have to pick a specific one, I’d go with that.

3. Least favorite show?

I’m sure I have others, but the first show that’s coming to mind is Two and a Half Men. To be fair, I haven’t seen a lot of this show, but I really haven’t liked a single minute of what I’ve seen. I don’t think it’s funny at all.

4. Most re-watched show/favorite show to binge watch?

Like I said, I’m obsessed with Friends. I rewatch it constantly and I don’t see myself wanting to stop anytime soon.

5. Do you prefer watching things week-by-week or binge-watching?

I really don’t mind watching things week-by-week. It lets the suspense build and gives me something to look forward to. But I am really grateful that with Netflix I can watch at my own pace. I don’t necessarily have to binge-watch, but I can watch a few episodes a week if I don’t want to wait.

6. Favorite television characters?

My favorite Friends characters are Chandler and Rachel. Some others that come to mind are Olivia Benson (Law & Order: SVU), Spencer Reid (Criminal Minds), Jane Rizzoli and Maura Isles (Rizzoli & Isles), Arya Stark and Tyrion Lannister (Game of Thrones), Jughead Jones (Riverdale), Michael Scott (The Office), and Steve Harrington (Stranger Things).

7. Favorite television ships?

I really love Phoebe and Mike from Friends together. Some others that I’ve liked are: Jesse and Becky from Full House, Felicity and Ben from Felicity, Charlie and Claire from Lost (it almost happened, haha), and Jim and Pam from The Office.

8. Show you could never get into?

Breaking Bad. I don’t dislike it and I’ll definitely give it another chance at some point, but I’ve seen the first handful of episodes and I just wasn’t hooked.

9. Show you fell out of love with?

I wouldn’t say I fell out of love with Supernatural, but I liked it a lot when I was younger and when I tried to rewatch it recently I wasn’t able to get back into it. I still think it’s a cool show though.

10. Cancelled too soon?

Honestly nothing is coming to mind. Most of my favorite shows were already on TV for a few years before I started watching them, so I really haven’t seen any that got cancelled early on.

11. Guilty pleasure show?

Riverdale. I’m not usually into such dramatic shows, but I have to admit that this one is addicting.

12. What are you currently watching?

Right now I’m watching How to Get Away with Murder, Sex Education, and Queer Eye. When I was younger I watched the first season of Dexter but never got a chance to finish it so after I’m caught up with those two, I’m going to go back and rewatch it.
